For almost twenty years, Ashley and I have been on the hunt. Every road trip, every small town, every dusty market or hidden vintage shop, we scour high and low for the kind of belt straps that stop you in your tracks. The perfectly broken in leather. The patina that only time can create. The one of a kind pieces that feel like they have already lived a life before they meet you.

The struggle is real. True vintage straps are getting harder and harder to find, but treasure hunting is part of our story. We cherry pick only the very best so that each Alkemie belt carries its own soul. No two are ever the same, each strap uniquely distressed, softened by years, ready for its next chapter with you.

Our buckles are hand cast here in Los Angeles out of reclaimed metal, and when they meet a vintage strap, something alchemical happens. A belt becomes more than an accessory, it becomes a grounding force, a central power point. Wearing a strong belt is like drawing a line of intention around your body. It anchors your outfit, your posture, your presence. Everything builds from there.

If vintage is not your path, we also offer brand new 100 percent leather straps in chocolate or black, beautifully simple, ready for you to distress and shape through your own adventures. The choice is always yours.

Our belts are available in sizes Small, Medium, and Large, and after two decades of creating them, we are experiencing our strongest season ever. Maybe it is because people are craving pieces with history, strength, and meaning. Maybe it is because a great belt makes you stand a little taller.
