Musing No. 6-opening 2026

As this new year begins, I feel deeply grateful.

Grateful to still be here.

to wake up each day in this body, breathing, feeling, learning…

still given the opportunity to do the work my spirit came here to do.

None of this feels guaranteed to me anymore, and because of that, everything feels sacred.

2026 arrives as a year of fresh beginnings and forward movement.

year that invites clarity, intention, and honest direction.

Rather than making resolutions, which so often carry guilt when life shifts..I prefer to set intentions that I can return to with compassion.

This year, my intention is to continue living in my authentic truth.

To release what no longer serves me.

To keep doing the inner work that brings me closer to my most high self.

To be  the change I wish to see in the world~

moving with peace, leading with love,

and surrounding myself with beings who love and accept me as I am,

the luminous parts and the imperfect ones….those  who reflect me honestly, helping me grow, refine, and evolve.

I feel profoundly blessed to experience another year in this wild, complex world.

Whatever the reason my spirit is still here, I am not taking a single moment for granted.

This past winter brought a wave of deep inspiration, and with it, many new creations….I invite you to keep checking in and exploring our newest designs as they arrive.

As we step into 2026 together,

my hope is that this year finds your heart open, your mind clear, your spirit steady,

and your physical body held in good health

It is an honor to adorn you…to connect through pieces made with meaning and intention.

I hope our paths cross in the real world this year!

Please do come visit us at our Alkemie Road shoppe in Topanga Canyon.

May  this new year carry you forward with grace,

grounded in truth, and guided by what feels real…

xx, Dara

Here’s  a small moment from our home—Oliver & Oscar ~they remind me daily that even those who aren’t “supposed” to get along can choose closeness.

A quiet reminder that love is always the common ground.
