Wolf is the keeper of Instinct 

We’re beginning something new at Alkemie.

Twice each month, we’ll be sharing a little Animal Medicine…stories, symbols, and the wisdom carried by some of the creatures that have long inspired our jewelry and our lives. Each one will be paired with a few of the Alkemie pieces that embody that animal’s spirit.

It felt only right to begin with Wolf.

Wolf is the keeper of instinct….

She reminds us that not all wisdom arrives in words. Some of it comes as a feeling in the body. A pull in the heart. A quiet knowing that asks us to trust what we sense, even before we can explain it.

Wolf medicine is about listening to that deeper voice~the one beneath the noise, beneath the opinions, beneath fear.

It is the voice that knows when it’s time to stay, when it’s time to go, and when it’s time to return to yourself.

Wolf also teaches us about loyalty. About the beauty of the pack. About protecting what matters and standing close to the people we love. She is both wild and devoted~fierce in her freedom, and deeply connected to her family.

There are seasons in life when Wolf appears to remind us that we are not lost, even when the path feels uncertain. We may not always see the whole way forward, but instinct often knows before the mind catches up.

Wolf asks us to trust the wild wisdom within.

To honor the part of ourselves that remembers who we are.

To walk our own path, even if it looks different from everyone else’s.

And to know that strength does not always roar. Sometimes it is simply the quiet courage of following what feels true.
